Emberton Park Sailing Club is situated on the A509 between Olney and Emberton, within easy reach of Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bedford.
One of the oldest sailing clubs in Milton Keynes, and proudly boasting a family friendly environment in which to sail all year round.

We are a RYA Recognised Training Centre, and offer a range of sailing and powerboat courses to all our members.

Discover Sailing/Come and Try It Day

Saturday 13 May 2023 – 11:00 to 16:00, EPSC

We are holding our annual “Come and Try It Day”.

Join us on the water to crew for an experienced member of the club.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring a change of clothes, shoes for getting wet and a towel.

Changing facilities/showers and light refreshments are available.

Social and sailing afternoon for all.
New and “new-ish” members come on down and get to know fellow members and enjoy refreshments and have a social sail.
Full support available, off and on the water, all afternoon.

EPSC Sailors Qualify for NSSA Regatta 2019

NSSA Trials

Trials were held at Haversham SC on 17 November 2018 to select 25 young sailors to represent Milton Keynes & Bucks Youth Sailing Association (MKBYSA) at the National Schools Sailing Association (NSSA) Regatta at Weymouth in July 2019.

Usually at this event the wind is blowing a gale and with it, horizontal rain, but this year, the wind was a steady breeze and there was no rain.

The MKBYSA team for 2019 included four EPSC sailors:

Elizabeth Richardson (Laser Radial)

Ben Thornerly (Laser Radial)

Tom Sayer (Laser Radial)

Henry Sayer (Laser 4.7)

Fleet Racing

Also at this event, the young sailors competed in 3 Fleet Races, each race lasting 45 minutes with Trophies for the Slow Fleet (Laser 4.7’s) and Fast Fleet (Laser Radials).

EPSC sailors were amongst those collecting the trophies.

Luke wins HOY 2017

Helm Of the Year 2017

Following a rather gusty race that lasted 100 minutes and saw several of the competitors capsize, Luke Fisher won the coveted Helm Of the Year Trophy 2017.

The final results were:

1st – Luke Fisher (vareo)

2nd – Karl Richardson (laser)

3rd – Silvio Tigano (byte)

4th – Jack Bryant (laser radial)

5th – Serena Stewardson (supernova)

6th – Rob Bell/Karen Bell (RS200)

7th – John Human (laser)

    

Social & Tips – Model Boat Setup Evening

Wednesday 29 March – Model Boat Setup Evening, 7:30pm, EPSC Clubhouse

Come and meet the Model Yachts and the Helms who race them!
The Model Boat Club will be having a pre-season get together to exchange ideas and to swap tips and tricks.
The bar will be open.

EPSC now a RYA Recognised Training Centre

EPSC has now been awarded RYA Recognised Training Centre status, which is fantastic news. A great big “thankyou” to everyone who made this possible.

This means we can formally certificate all RYA courses we run.

The next training sessions are 23 & 24 October, 0930 to 1600 each day – members only.
