Training at Emberton Park Sailing Club
Emberton Park Sailing Club is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) recognised training centre, which means we can offer RYA qualifications recognised the world over.
We are not a commercial centre so are only able to provide training for members only. So please join first then take advantage of our great training at very competitive rates.
The courses currently run, subject to demand are:
Adult
Level 1 – Start Sailing
Level 2 – Basic Sailing
Level 3 – Better Sailing
Youth
Start Sailing – Stage 1
Start Sailing – Stage 2
Start Sailing – Stage 3
Start Sailing – Stage 4
(After Stage 4, a youth can participate in specialist adult courses)
Powerboat
Powerboat 1
Powerboat 2
Safety Boat
(At Powerboat Level 2, you are required to take part in the club Rescue Boat rota, 3-4 times a year)
Other Courses – including Advanced Levels
Weekends are tailored to your individual needs whether you are wishing to progress to a more technical level, or just need a refresher on the basics.

Each of the above courses cost £85 for two full days (16 hours in total), which includes all course materials.
Additional fees may be required to complete a level/stage or for additional support.
Days may need to be flexiable due to weather conditions.
Additional RYA publications can be ordered (price list available in the clubhouse).

Sat 20/Sun 21 June – Level 1-3, Stage 1-4
Sat 11/Sun 12 July – Level 1-3, Stage 1-4
